Overview

Iwaris Ltd. is an African-owned food brand dedicated to delivering authentic African foodstuffs and freshly prepared traditional meals in Guernsey, UK. With a growing customer base and a commitment to cultural excellence, the company sought to expand its reach and improve its customer experience by establishing a strong digital presence.

The Challenge

While demand for African foods was rising, Iwaris lacked an online platform to serve its customers effectively. The business also needed a clear content and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and streamline sales.

My Role

As Project Manager, I was responsible for leading the entire digital transformation project. My role included:

  • Overseeing the development of the e-commerce website from concept to launch.

  • Coordinating with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure a user-friendly and brand-aligned website.

  • Leading the ideation, scripting, and design of social media content.

  • Managing the content creation process, including graphic design and video editing, for use across Instagram and Facebook.

  • Executing a cohesive marketing plan that boosted online visibility and customer engagement.

The Outcome

The project resulted in the successful launch of a fully functional, mobile-responsive e-commerce platform that reflected the Iwaris brand and simplified the buying experience.

The marketing efforts led to a measurable increase in customer inquiries, social media engagement, and product sales. As a result of the streamlined digital presence and brand consistency, Iwaris Ltd. was able to:

  • Improve its digital footprint and customer reach.

  • Automate and manage online orders more efficiently.
